Leeds Roundhay residents taking positive action to tackle environmental issues and living more sustainably

Roundhay Environmental Action Project - REAP

About REAP

REAP was set up by Leeds Roundhay residents as a platform to promote practical local action on carbon reduction and the environment. We have been going for over 10 years!

Did You Know?

We have a REAP information stall at every Oakwood Farmers’ Market on 3rd Saturday of the month. Come and find out what we’re up to and give us your views.  Current activities include:

  • Informing young people about a whole range of environmental issues facing us all now. We are delighted to be working with our local secondary schools on this.
  • Fundraising for an electronic noticeboard near Oakwood clock.

The trustees of REAP are:

Jill Jones
Rob Greenwood
Alexis Keech
Amanda Cottrell
Nigel Jones
Sue Tuffin
Pat Urry – Chair
Barbara Whitehouse

What is REAP?

As a community-led initiative REAP aims to help combat climate change by cutting our community carbon dioxide emissions, encouraging local residents to live more sustainably, and contributing to a more cohesive and resilient community.

REAP does this through events, projects and activities.

Oakwood Farmers' Market

Oakwood Farmers' Market is the trading arm of REAP and held every third Saturday of the month by Oakwood Clock in Oakwood, Leeds.

Local quality produce from within 30 miles.
